OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are a dynamic and forward-thinking company specialising in the development of cutting-edge telecom applications. We are seeking a highly skilled C/C++ Developer with experience in implementing telecom industry protocol softwares and applications to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in C, C++, Signalling System #7, SIGTRAN, SCTP/IP, The Mobile Application Part as per the 3GPP Specification, Diameter and USSD. Experience with MySQL/MariaDB databases, familiarity with Linux, Docker and GSM/UMTS networks will be an added plus. Experience with Java 11 and JavaScript and experience in the telecommunication industry is advantageous.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in C/C++ programming, particularly in telecom application development.
• Proven experience working with telecom protocols, specifically Signalling System #7 (SS7), SIGTRAN, and SCTP/IP.
• In-depth knowledge of The Mobile Application Part (MAP) according to the 3GPP specifications.
• Hands-on experience with the Diameter protocol and USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) services.
• Experience with MySQL/MariaDB databases.
• Familiarity with telecom network architecture and the relevant standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of troubleshooting complex telecom signalling issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

• Familiarity with Java 11 and JavaScript.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and using Wireshark.
• Experience with GitHub, Linux and Docker is a must.
• Previous experience in the telecommunication or fintech sectors is advantageous.

SOFT SKILLS:

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with other programming languages and frameworks.
• Experience with developing and managing teleco-grade software based on telecom protocols and technologies.
• Knowledge of network security practices in telecom systems.
• Knowledge of modern development practices and tools.
