As a Vulnerability Analyst, you will have the main responsibility of managing the life cycle of vulnerabilities, ensuring the analysis, characterization, prioritization and communication of vulnerabilities, as well as the monitoring of indicators and continuous improvement of associated processes.
- Perform vulnerability assessments in systems, networks and applications to identify possible security weaknesses.
- Analyze and interpret the results of vulnerability scans to determine the severity and impact the potential of the identified vulnerabilities.
- Validate that vulnerabilities are effectively exploitable, proving whenever necessary through of their exploitation
- Prioritize vulnerabilities based on their severity and potential impact on operations, assets and organization information.
- Ensure with the intervening areas that there are remediation plans to address the vulnerabilities identified.
- Clarify teams involved in the process to ensure the timely and effective resolution of vulnerabilities.
- Keep up to date with the latest security threats and vulnerability trends for proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Document vulnerabilities and remediation activities to maintain an accurate and comprehensive record the security posture of the organization.
- Higher Academic Training in Computer Engineering, Electrotechnical or equivalent experience
- Minimum experience of 5 years in cybersecurity preferably in equivalent functions
- Ability to exploit vulnerabilities
- Ability to identify and manage risks
- Ability to communicate and interpersonal relationships
