How you make a difference:
The Telemedicine Facilitator at PADOC will work to coordinate, track, and implement the telemedicine program. They will ensure that all necessary technology is available for telemedicine appointments, troubleshoot technical issues, and communicate with patients and medical staff to facilitate successful telemedicine visits. The Telemedicine Facilitator will also maintain accurate records and documentation related to telemedicine appointments and usage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the coordination and implementation of the telemedicine program, including supporting new telemedicine implementations and provider startup.
  • Provides technical support for telemedicine services and facilitates telemedicine provider and vendor schedules across multiple facilities.
  • Facilitates program meetings, takes and distributes meeting minutes, and creates/distributes program communications as needed.
  • Performs scribe duties by documenting medical data in collaboration with healthcare providers.
  • Coordinates telemedicine processes, including initial request receipt and review, provider alignment, site communications, and technology implementation and training.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education

  • Successful completion of an accredited CMA Course.

Experience

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Medical assistant certification.
