Description:
JOB SUMMARY
You will play a crucial role in promoting apprenticeships, the benefits and Levy Transfer funding opportunities to employers. Your goal is to support employers through a consultative process, asking insightful questions to understand their needs and objectives. Leveraging your influencing and persuasion skills, you will help employers appreciate the value and range of apprenticeships available. You will convert leads into fully committed apprenticeship starts, while establishing and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 1–2 years demonstrable experience in a telesales or cold calling or similar sales role, preferably within the education or training sector.
- Experience operating in a consultative capacity to advise, guide and lead your clients and identify the most suitable options which are fit for purpose.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to understand and explain the benefits of apprenticeships and Levy Transfer funding.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively engaging employers by making outbound calls to promote Babington and the benefits of apprenticeships and Levy Transfer funding.
- Generate interest and leads, building a robust pipeline and portfolio of employers who are suitable to be converted to new customers.
- Act as a main point of contact and advisor to employers, supporting them to maximise levy opportunities which supports the development of their workforce.
- Maintain and develop a strong understanding of the available apprenticeship programmes delivered across a broad network of training providers, advising employers accordingly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, acting as a trusted advisor for new and existing customers.
