Description:

Habitat for Humanity International seeks a Temp Compensation Analyst. The position will provide temporary support to the Global Compensation Director and Senior Analyst, Compensation and Global Mobility, allowing the Director and Senior Analyst to focus and dedicate the allotted time needed to design and build-out the job architecture infrastructure that is critical to the Unify project including the Unify Project system design.
This hands-on subject matter expert will be responsible for ensuring the seamless and timely handling of the day-to-day compensation review requests of HFHI’s clients. This role involves analyzing compensation data, conducting market research, and providing strategic insights to support salary decisions; works closely with human resources partners and management teams to ensure compensation practices comply with regulatory requirements and support employee attraction and retention; performs salary benchmarking, job evaluations, and maintains compensation data integrity.

Temporary assignment: 24 months

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*Maintain the compensation tracking log to ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming and ongoing compensation review requests.
*
Prepare and maintain documentation related to compensation review requests.
*Provide guidance to human resources partners, managers, and executives on compensation-related issues, including job evaluations, salary recommendations, and pay equity based on review and alignment of Director and/or Senior Analyst.
*
Provide People Leaders with guidance on job description writing including navigating the MarketPay Jobs / JDXpert job description writing tool.
*Support salary survey participation, as requested.
*
Partner with the Director Global Compensation to support analytical assignments on a variety of projects including summarizing in presentation and other formats.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

**Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional work experience.

YEARS OF RELATED EXPERIENCE:

**Minimum 5 years’ experience in broad-based compensation program design, implementation and administration.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

*Experience with Willis Towers Watson Job Framework methodology or other similar job framework architectural methodologies/structures strongly desired.
*
Leading market-based knowledge of compensation practices and principles, market surveys, compensation philosophy, FLSA regulations,
*US and international compensation design, including expatriate experience.
*
Advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, If statements, and pivot tables).
*Advanced analytical skills with ability to synthesize data and propose recommendations.
*
Strong attention to detail.
*Strong problem solving, communication and time-management skills.
*
Demonstrated project management skills.
*Ability to maintain confidentiality of all data and decisions.
*
Ability to work independently and problem solve on a consistent basis.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS (IN ADDITION TO MINIMUM):

*Compensation certification (CCP, GRP).
*
2 years of experience with global (North America plus one or more continents) compensation programs including global salary surveys and compensation-related data
*Demonstrates a high level of quantitative analysis skills, organizing complex data via spreadsheets and developing assumptions to create appropriate models and a broad understanding of compensation and HR policies and processes.
*
Experience effectively managing multiple projects and initiatives.
**Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced global matrixed environment.
