ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS FOR THE KITCHEN ASSISTANT POSITION

• Previous experience in a similar kitchen or food service role is advantageous but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in all kitchen duties.
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination with kitchen staff.

• Assist in the preparation and serving of high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs of students.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen space.
• Support kitchen operations by managing inventory and restocking supplies as needed.
• Cooperate with kitchen staff to efficiently accommodate special dietary requirements.
• Participate in maintaining the kitchen’s equipment and facilities.
