POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to support the attorneys in our North Fort Worth office. This position is responsible for (i) word processing functions in connection with attorneys’ drafting and revision of legal documents; (ii) organization of attorneys’ offices, including filing of documents; (iii) coordinating with outside counsel, lenders, title companies, and surveyors throughout the transaction process.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated high level of professional demeanor, integrity and ethics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Laserfiche, a plus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • One to three years’ administrative assistant experience
  • Real estate and/or legal experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Support Hillwood Properties attorneys, as necessary
  • Assist with answering and routing calls
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail
  • Assist with the preparation, production, revision and organization of legal documents and correspondence
  • Maintain calendar, arrange conference calls, and coordinate group meetings (conference room and equipment set up)
  • Coordinate expense reports
  • Maintain office filing and organization; assist with file archiving
  • Responsible for organizing and distributing transaction documents
  • Submit documents to applicable county offices for recording
