Description:
St. Robert Bellarmine School, a vibrant Catholic elementary and middle school in Burbank, CA, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic temporary front office assistant. The candidate will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the school office. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills to ensure a welcoming environment for students, parents, and staff. The Office Assistant will assist with administrative tasks, manage communications, and contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of our Catholic educational community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, students, and parents.
- Answer phone calls, handle inquiries, and relay messages.
- Maintain student records and assist with enrollment processes.
- Manage office supplies and maintain an organized workspace.
- Support the coordination of school events and activities.
- Perform various clerical tasks as needed to support school operations.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office equipment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
- A commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
- VIRTUS trained and ADLA fingerprinted (preferred)
Position will be until Nov. 22nd, 2024.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs
