Description:

Compensation: $28.04/hour plus vacation pay & 2.5% in lieu of benefits
Location: London, ON
Schedule: 32-40 hrs/week; varied shifts: could include weekends, overnights, and public holidays

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of post-secondary education in Human, Community, and/or Social Services (e.g., SSW, DSW)

· Minimum one (1) year of related experience providing support to people requiring varying levels of behaviourial interventions; knowledge of concurrent disorders and/or dual diagnoses and strategies for support

  • Reliable with a demonstrated commitment to being a dependable member of a team
  • Understanding of support requirements specific to the roles and responsibilities of the job
  • Proficiency in both verbal and written communication
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, advocacy, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills, in addition to attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the team, and independently as necessary
  • Capacity to establish, implement, and maintain professional, and personal boundaries
  • Multilingualism and having diverse lived experiences are considered assets
  • Valid Class G (full) Driver’s License with a 3-year Uncertified Driver Record (mandatory)
  • Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check with Humana listed as the employer (mandatory)
  • Physical Health assessment: verification of up-to-date immunizations, COVID vaccination status (2 doses), and ability to meet the physical requirements of the position (mandatory)
  • Current Standard First Aid & CPR (mandatory), Level C with AED training preferred
