JOB ADVERT SUMMARY

Rustenburg Girls’ High School is looking to fill Geography teacher (Grade 8-12) position in a fixed-term contract while the permanent appointee serves their notice. The following full time SGB educator post is available for Term 1 of 2025.
Only short-listed candidates will be contacted and invited to an interview and will be taken on a tour of the school and expected to teach a lesson. We reserve the right not to fill the posts.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge and experience in teaching the CAPs curriculum in the FET phase is essential (minimum five years preferred).
• Experience of teaching at Grade 12 level is essential (minimum two years preferred).
• Must be computer literate and competent in the use of technology for teaching and learning.
• Must be proficient in Engish as the language of teaching and learning.

The successful applicant will teach Geography in Grades 8-12 as per the assigned timetable.
The successful applicant will be expected to play a full role in the extra-mural life of the school, including as a Tutor in the Vertical Tutor System
