JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for temporary Packagers to work full-time until December 20, 2024.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Packager is responsible for ensuring the product meets quality standards during manual packaging operations and packing product in compliance with cGMP and SOP requirements.

TECHNICAL/PHYSICAL & BEHAVIOURAL ABILITIES

  • 1 year experience, preferably in a GMP pharmaceutical packaging & manufacturing facility
  • High School Diploma required
  • Good basic math skills
  • Good command of the English Language, verbal, reading and writing.
  • Strong hand & eye coordination manual dexterity, some repetitive movements and standing for long periods.
  • Able to lift and move up to 10lbs and occasionally up to 30lbs.
  • High integrity, team player, flexibility in working overtime, responsible, reliable, with good attention to details, good problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work the whole contract duration.

Responsibilities:

  • Afternoon shift - 3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday to Friday
  • To manually package syringes.
  • Place syringes in an individual carton with insert and package the cartons in shipper, tape the shipper, apply labels and arrange on the skid.
  • Inspect all products for visual defects during packaging process to ensure quality and cGMP compliance.
  • Visual acuity (including with corrective lenses) required to check the lot number and bottles for cleanliness.
  • Ensures that all work is carried out in compliance with company Safety Policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Reports any accidents, incidents and injuries or illnesses immediately and notifies manager of any hazards, unsafe acts, or conditions in the workplace.
