Description:

Region: Miami, FL
The Temporary Project Consultant, Marketing & Culinary will help to develop and test the short and long-term menu strategies that successfully meet evolving guest needs and drive Subway business objectives and brand affinity.
This will include partnering with Cross Functional Teams to bring new products forward to the National Marketing Calendar by adhering to Stage Gate and New Product Development processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Helps to drive the Company’s domestic menu evolution and strategy and validation.
  • In partnership with the team, develop, gain alignment to, and oversee a guest- and insight-driven innovation pipeline.
  • Aid in cultivating an in-depth understanding of target consumer.
  • Coordination of brand product development and testing project timeline and calendar including quantitative concept screeners, qualitative focus groups, and operations / market tests.
  • Research & develop category analyses and insights that fuel innovative ideas and create differentiated product concepts and positioning. Set and execute short term strategy for the category and contribute to long term strategy.
  • Reviews & synthesize insights and data to deliver fresh, new thinking and recommendations on category development. Analyze the ongoing financial performance of the current menu and recommend opportunities to optimize and rationalize.
  • Collaborate with Culinary, Consumer Insights, Analytics, Supply Chain, Operations, and Legal to turn new products into reality.
  • Support the build compelling Business Cases and contribute to other business activities. Assist with sell-in to leadership and owner/operator partners.
