Location: Education Centre
Schedule: 17.5 Hours per week
Salary: $86,516 to 92,094 (Full time annual salary - will be pro-rated to 17.5 hrs/week)

Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board (HPEDSB) serves approximately 15,400 students each day at 39 in-person schools (32 elementary, two K-12; four 7-12, one secondary). RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete comprehensive, individual psychological assessments including but not limited to: administer and score psychometric testing materials, clinical interview, interpretation of testing data, case formulation, report writing and presenting the assessment findings and recommendations to school personnel and parents/guardians. All duties are performed under clinical supervision of the Board Lead Psychologist. Ongoing psychological and/or psychoeducational consultation to Special Education Services, school personnel, and parents/guardians is required.
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful applicant will possess a Master’s degree in Psychology or equivalent area of study; over four years of related experience preferably in a community or educational setting; excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating tact and sensitivity. Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a strong client and quality of service focus. Strong analytical, assessment and problem solving skills are required. Proficient in the use of work processing and email software. Experience working in a multi-disciplinary setting and demonstrated experience with intervention strategies appropriate for children and youth.
