At DRUHC, we provide a range of employment services (information and referral, one-on-one employment counselling, employment workshops, job development services) to individuals of all ages, professional backgrounds and skills to help them reach their employment goals.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Hiring Event Coordinator to support our hiring event from February 10 to April 4, 2025. The coordinator will lead applicant screening, manage communications with agency partners and candidates, and provide essential support to ensure a seamless hiring process.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in recruitment, event coordination, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A customer-focused attitude and ability to support candidates professionally and empathetically.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using scheduling tools and communication platforms.

Responsibilities:
- Screen applications and identify suitable candidates for hiring events.
- Share shortlisted candidate details with agency partners.
- Schedule and finalize interview times, locations, and other details.
- Communicate all logistical details, reminders, and updates to both candidates and agency partners.
- Provide one-on-one private sessions for selected candidates to prepare for hiring events.
- Offer interview preparation sessions to candidates who are not registered with agency partners.
- Ensure all communication and scheduling are clear, timely, and accurate for a successful event experience.
