This role is accountable for maintaining profitable and competitive domestic market soybean and corn product lines. Working under the direction of the Product Manager, this position is responsible for executing tasks to effectively manage sales and procurement programs.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor adherence to contract quality terms. Ensure that purchases remain current and that customers receive seed products which meet quality specifications.
- Engage in ongoing communication with sales staff to maintain an understanding and awareness of product requirements.
- Manage logistics, allocations, and purchase orders for assigned products and territories.
- Develop relationships with growers, stakeholders and/or genetic suppliers to achieve the financial goals and business objectives.
- Lead the implementation of sales and/or production plans as assigned.
- Assist Product Manager in the development of sales forecast and production plans.
- Communicate sales strategies, pricing and programs to field sales staff, division management, and seed management.
- Solicit feedback from key contacts for future planning.
- Professionally represent Nutrien Ag Solutions at customer and training events.
- Routinely prepare and submit regular reports to internal and external stakeholders.
