JOB ADVERT SUMMARY
Rustenburg Girls’ High School is looking to appoint a part-time Sports Admin Assistant on a fixed term contract, to provide operational and practical support to the Sports Administrators, and elsewhere within the school as needed, so as to ensure that sport at Rustenburg Girls’ High School runs efficiently and effectively.
This position is to cover the maternity leave of the Director of Sport and is available from 1 October 2024 to 14 February 2025, with working hours:
- Monday - Thursday : 08:30 - 16:30, Lunch Break : 13:30 - 14:00
- Friday : 08:30 - 13:30, Lunch Break: 10:30 - 11:00

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Hardworking and passionate
- Excellent communication skills in English are essential (other languages an advantage)
- Flair for administrative excellence and efficiency
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment
- Passionate about working with young people and the positive impact that sports can have on their lives
- Coaching experience and qualifications would be an advantage
- Experience working in a girls’ school environment would be an advantage
Responsibilities:
Support the Sport Office by performing a range of administrative tasks relating to the allocated sports codes.
Ensure that teams are effectively coordinated and administered
Compile reports for the Weekly Bulletin and the Principals report to the SGB.
Asisst the Sports Administrators in organising and running sports events at the school
