Job Title: Temporary Support Administrator
Reporting to: HR Manager
Department: Human Resources
Nature of Contract: Three-month Fixed Term Contract
Over the past year, the Johnsons Celtic Linen (Johnsons Ireland) has experienced significant growth. In order to support this expansion, we are seeking a Temporary Support Administrator. This role will primarily operate within Human Resources. The successful candidate will be based at our Drinagh site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately upload and maintain employee lifecycle documents to TMS, including training records, contracts, and other related documentation.
- Provide effective administrative support for HR activities such as site recruitment, pre-employment checks, inductions, contract preparation, absence management, discipline and grievance processes, employee engagement, communication, employee relations, and performance management.
- Maintain personnel files and records, ensuring all data is processed promptly and in compliance with current data protection legislation.
- Participate in meetings as required, ensuring accurate meeting notes are recorded.
- Ensure that all HR information is handled confidentially and in compliance with GDPR guidelines.
- Process routine employee requests and provide relevant information and paperwork in a timely manner.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
- Actively support HR wellbeing and employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist with HR projects and special events as required.
Person Specification:
- The ideal candidate must demonstrate a high level of discretion, integrity, and trustworthiness in handling confidential information.
- A pragmatic and enthusiastic approach to completing tasks.
- Strong IT skills with demonstrated proficiency in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and document scanning software and hardware (e.g., scanners, multi-function printers, and desktop or cloud-based storage systems).
- Familiarity with document management systems and file storage solutions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to quickly, accurately and efficiently handle repetitive tasks.
- An ability to identify opportunities to improve processes would be advantageous.
- Proactive and assertive, with a willingness to ask the necessary questions to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Team-oriented with the ability to address issues promptly.
- Resilient and adaptable.

- Excellent (C2) Level of English.
- Previous administrative experience is an advantage.
