Description:
About the role
We are looking for a talented Temporary Works Coordinator to join our Rail team and work on the successful delivery of the rail works associated with the Sizewell C project.
What you’ll be doing
- Compile and regularly update a Temporary Works Schedule with all relevant information, periodically reviewing it.
- Coordinate with all parties involved in the design and construction of temporary works to ensure safe and effective technical solutions.
- Liaise with clients to determine whether schemes may impact the public, and to ascertain the necessary approval processes and certifications.
- Prepare and review design briefs for adequacy and completeness before issuing them.
- Ensure that an adequate Temporary Works Design is carried out.
- Ensure that the duration for temporary works design, checking, and construction is realistically incorporated into the construction programme.
- Discuss any design changes with the Temporary Works Designer and manage the design change process.
- Carry out technical, quality and compliance audit inspections of Temporary Works prior to loading and unloading, to ensure only competent personnel is carrying out on-site duties and project is following applicable standards and practices.
- Inspect temporary works installations to ensure they are in line with the designs, and monitor any change on site for submission of significant revisions to the designer for re-design.
