ABOUT YOU

We want someone with 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role delivering homelessness prevention, resettlement and housing related support services with a proven experience of working within a multi-functional team, with partners to deliver a range of services to a diverse community. We also want people with experience of successfully meeting individual set targets for key tenancy support areas, including tenancy sustainment, financial inclusion, health, education and employment, safeguarding and of delivering homelessness prevention, resettlement and housing related support services. ABOUT THE ROLE

In the role of Tenancy Support Officer, you will provide support to vulnerable clients within the contingency hotel by empowering the client with the skills to lead an independent life within the community.
You will assist and facilitate the smooth transition of new refugees from contingency hotels into SERCO dispersed accommodation.
You will support the successful integration of adults and families by minimising rates of homelessness, rough sleeping, poor health, economic hardship and social isolation and improving proficiency in English language.
