Job Description & Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the related field.
  • Preferably with experience working for a Main contractor.
  • Proficiency in GeBIZ or other e-procurement systems is a plus。
  • Possess a matured attitude and a keen sense to learn.
  • Highly motivated, confident and self-driven.
  • Responsible and Independent
  • Ability to produce accurate and quality work within tight deadlines
  • Possess good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD (2D/3D), Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop tender strategies and handle tender estimation, including quantity take-off and cost estimation.
  • Prepare tender submissions, including qualification and quantification documents.
  • Coordinate all parties to ensure accurate project analysis and prepare final submission documentation.
  • Conduct tender exercises for sub-contracting, including evaluation and contract awards.
  • Prepare development plans for clients, aligning with the Master Industry Plan (knowledge of industry trends and Design & Build Tender is preferred).
  • Present tender submission proposals to management.
  • Present submission proposals to potential clients/consultants and excel in negotiation
  • Perform quantity take off and attend site visits;
  • Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies;
  • Perform risk, value management and cost control;
  • Prepare and analyse costing for tenders;
  • Sourcing suppliers and subcontractors
  • Allocate work to subcontractors;
  • Preparation of Progress Claim and/or Payment Response
  • Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports;
  • Value completed work
