We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Tender Writer to join our team to help us secure new business opportunities and maintain our position as a trusted security provider.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in tender writing, bid management, or a similar role, preferably in the security, facilities management, or related service industry.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.

  • Writing Skills: Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and persuasive content tailored to specific audiences.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and ensure high-quality submissions.
  • Project Management: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive) for document creation, management, and collaboration, with experience in design tools (e.g., Adobe InDesign) as a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the security industry and/or public and private sector procurement processes is advantageous.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse RFP requirements and develop strategic, customized responses that address client needs effectively.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tender Development: Analyse tender documents, RFPs, and PQQs to understand client requirements and develop strategic responses that align with Synergy Security’s strengths and services.
  • Content Writing: Write, edit, and proofread high-quality, persuasive, and accurate tender responses, ensuring that all submissions effectively communicate the company’s unique value proposition.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Bid Manager, sales team, operations, and subject matter experts to gather input and ensure all tender responses are comprehensive, accurate, and meet client expectations.
  • Document Management: Prepare, format, and organize tender documents in line with company guidelines, ensuring that submissions are professional and meet all client requirements.
  • Research: Conduct research on client needs, competitor offerings, and industry trends to inform and enhance tender responses.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all submissions comply with legal, regulatory, and company requirements and maintain high standards of quality.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Maintain records of all tender submissions and outcomes, providing regular updates to management on success rates and areas for improvement.
