Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:

This role delivers value in conducting tenders and closing contracts to ensure purchasing processes are on a complaint way for all business divisions.

YOUR MAIN TASKS WILL BE:

  • Identifying tenders where contract is needed in collaboration with buyer and sourcing team.
  • Choosing the relevant sourcing strategy and recognize the possible suppliers on the market, design a proper market analysis.
  • Leading tenders without supervision according to the business requirements.
  • Maintaining a close relationship with business during the tendering and contracting phase.
  • Closing contracts according to the DPDHL contracting policies and in accordance with country specific requirements.
  • Ensuring contract quality in the relevant system.
  • Securing the vendor availability in the given purchasing system.
  • Assuring the contracted item availability in the country’s catalogue system.
  • Explain facts, practices, policies, etc. to others within the organization adhering to narrowly defined procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own team and with the buyer/sourcing team.
