POSITION OVERVIEW

Salary range: A reasonable estimate for this position is $82,200 - $111,800. Applicants that currently hold a Senate faculty position at another UC campus should be aware of the policies governing intercampus faculty hiring and transfers. These policies can be found at UCOP APM 510-18

Anticipated start: July 1, 2025 or later

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Department of Philosophy at UC Santa Barbara invites applications for a tenure track position in Epistemology at the Assistant Professor level. The position will remain open until filled. QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should minimally have advanced to candidacy for a doctoral degree in Philosophy or a closely related field at the time of application.

Applicants should have completed all requirements for a doctoral degree in Philosophy or a closely related field before starting the position.
Preferred qualifications
Applicants should have completed all requirements for doctoral degree in Philosophy or a closely related field before the Fall 2025 quarter.
