Job Title: Term Part-Time Scheduler
Reports to: Program Manager
Pay: Exempt Staff. $30-$34/hr, based on experience
Schedule: 2 days per week 9:00-5:00 (days are flexible between Monday to Friday). (Until April 30, 2025).

Under the direction of a program manager, this position assists with scheduling duties such as calling out shifts, and managing regular schedules of Community Support Workers & Housing Outreach Workers.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

· Grade 12
· Office Administration Certificate
· Recent, related experience of 2 years OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience OR other Qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work
· Experience with Comvida programs is preferred

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
· Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others
· Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
· Ability to operate related equipment
· Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize
· Ability to type at 50 wpm
· Business writing skills
· Knowledge of general office procedures
· Ability to analyze and resolve problems
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week

Responsibilities:

· Prepares and adjusts schedules, and allocates work assignments for Community Support Workers/Housing & Outreach Workers in accordance with staffing needs and applicable collective agreements
· Receives calls and/or requests from staff regarding absences, such as vacation, sick leave, and leaves of absence, and assigns staff in accordance with applicable collective agreements upon Manager approval of leave
· Informs supervisors regarding difficulties encountered in the placement of Community Support Worker/Housing & Outreach Worker
· Completes and maintains related reports and documentation such as staff records and reports.
· Reviews and verifies Community Support Worker/Housing & Outreach Worker timesheets
· Provides general administrative support to managers and teams as needed, including reception duties, data management and inventory and supply management
· Performs other related duties as assigned
