Responsibilities:

THE ROLE ITSELF?

You will be responsible for sales and marketing of products within Central &South East Queensland, managing key relationships on behalf of the company and providing technical advice at farm and store level. The ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with industry personnel is vital to being successful in this role. You will develop contacts with key resellers, key farmers and industry consultants to promote the full range of products.

Your day to day activities in this role will include:

  • Effective management of customer and channel partner relationships
  • Develop product positioning and implement customer account plans for the designated territory
  • Providing timely and accurate technical support to farmers, agronomists and stakeholder’s
  • Identification of market opportunities, and to work closely with farmers, retail distributors and industry to promote the company’s products
  • Achieve sales, market share and contribution in line with company targets
  • Work closely with Marketing / Product Managers fostering a collaborative environment
  • Territory forecasting & reporting

WHAT KIND OF PERSON WILL FIT THE ROLE?

The perfect person for this role would be someone with tertiary agronomy qualifications and previous broadacre or horticultural agronomy experience. A person that has a proven ability to establish, maintain and develop relationships with agronomists and farmers alike by providing quality information and solutions. This role will suit someone that is passionate about agronomy, improving farming systems and is driven to exceed the expectations of the industry.
