REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life-science, Marketing or another relevant degree
  • Sales experience from the medical/pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferably within hospital sales
  • Strong business acumen, commercial awareness, excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Proven track record of building a robust stakeholder network and maintaining strong relationships with customers
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills, verbal as well as written in Danish and English
  • Driving license and willingness and ability to travel
    Knowledge of the competitive marketplace and successful sales record in a clinical environment or Diabetes therapy or clinical/care-based experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Selling and promoting our diabetes product and service portfolio in line with the Danish sales and marketing strategy through our Salesforce CRM
  • Building strong ethical business relationships with customers to ensure usage of our products and gain greater market share by leading through clinical selling
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining strategic plans, fiscal year objectives, quarterly action plans and sales call logs for all accounts in Salesforce on a daily basis
  • Use key reports/data to analyze territory/ account performance to maximize business growth
  • Keeping up to date with health-economics, reimbursement and tender processes with potential to influence tender outcomes
  • Build – together with sales manager – strong and lasting business relationships with key opinion leaders and key decision makers influential in the purchasing process
  • Train and educate relevant hospital staff on Medtronic product portfolio
