Description:
The Territory Manager is responsible for selling Epicor products to prospects in a specific territory. Manages sales through forecasting,account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.Participates in the development, presentation and sales propositions. Negotiates pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Proven track record of sales success
- Accomplished track record of selling multi-level to business, technical and IT people
- Business application (ERP, Supply Chain and CRM)
- Background of ERP markets and business preferred
- Ability to quickly qualify opportunities and key strategic positions for each new project
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior management of the defined target market

Responsibilities:
- Manages a sales territory, vertical and/or geographical.
- Qualifies opportunities with the aim of maximizing leads.
- Plans and implements sales campaigns.
- Coordinates with solution sales and professional services teams.
- Inputs ideas and participates in marketing events.
- Understands the business requirements of prospects and customers.
- Provides accurate and timely sales forecasts.
- Manages the short and medium term pipeline.
- Maintains third party relationships.
- Updates and maintains CRM data base and performs weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
- for the assigned territory.
- Some travel is expected in support of sales efforts.
