Description:

Responsibilities:

The Territory Manager position is a dynamic role that responsible for sales, business development, and supporting current jobs/projects, taking overall responsibility for the revenue and gross profit of the territory. This role provides support to employees within their assigned territory/office location(s), including training and daily support. The Territory Manager collaborates with other Territory Manager’s and the Leadership Team to ensure success within their region, and consistency in practice.

  • Manage the assigned office location(s)/territory, ensuring employees are productive, efficient and are supported within their roles
  • Responsible for market penetration and growth strategy
  • Owner/developer partnerships and engagement
  • Product/service knowledge and positioning
  • Technical content and proposal development
  • Provide guidance to all employees where required, whether day to day support or inquiries or related to growth and development
  • Develop new or prospective relationships with new customers, including business owners, engineers and/or contractors
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, and increase internal revenue and business development
  • Support consulting firms or other engineers in their design and equipment selection for projects, proposals and bids
  • Resolve and provide support for any sales issues (i.e. submittals, site issues) as required
  • Attend project sites to oversee start-ups or assist with minor issues as required
  • Introduce new products to current and prospective clients, highlighting key offerings and benefits of new technology
  • Price and budget jobs, collaborating with colleagues where required; complete follow up on quotes/bids
  • Coordinate with contractors and Project Managers on after sales issues where required
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires, including training of new hires
  • Attend business development/networking events on behalf of the company, whether virtually or in-person
