- Meeting annual sales targets by calling on existing and prospective customers to promote the Donaldson brand and products.
- Maintains a consistent customer call routine as deemed necessary.
- Displays, promotes and demonstrates product using samples electronic communication or catalogue and emphasises saleable features.
- Facilitating smooth communication channels and customer management with distributors, all Donaldson users and dealers.
- Build long term relationships with all customers by continually providing professional customer service.
- General account management such as customer support & training, product demonstration, assistance with appropriate marketing materials & attendance at trade shows,
- Advising & managing technical issues,
- Undertaking market analysis to determine appropriate sales strategies.
Sales Administration
- Daily input of all customer activities into CRM.
- Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
- Prepares weekly and quarterly travel plans and maintains reports via CRM system.
- Provides new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CRM.
- Prepares standard sales reports as required by IFS management.
Safety
- Actively promotes safety by ensuring safe systems of work within role.
- Adheres to all company WHS policies and procedures.
- Follows client’s WHS policies and procedures when on site.
- Reports all incidents in a timely manner; implements outcomes as requested.
General
- Undertake all tasks with a positive and professional work ethic.
- Manages and maintains assigned Company assets including keeping company assigned vehicles clean and operating efficiently at all times.
- Ensures all activities comply with Company’s Code of Conduct; Company policies and procedures and other relevant legislation, legal and professional standards.
- Undertake any other task associated with the operations of the business that may be reasonably requested from time to time or subject to a specific direction.
