Description:

We are currently looking for a Territory Manager to grow our Textile Care team in Ecolab Finland.
Ecolab is a global sustainability leader offering water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services that protect people and the resources vital to life. Our Textile Care Division has earned the trust of thousands of customers in commercial laundry services that use the full range of products that we offer. In addition to the highest quality professional detergents, we provide support and automated dispensing systems for accurate measurements and expertise on the technology behind washing and disinfecting linens. We offer solutions that help to reduce energy and water consumption, increase textile lifetime and improve the productivity and profitability of the laundry.
As a Territory Manager for Textile Care Division, you are responsible for providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the sales targets through the merchandising of sales and service programs within your region. You are also responsible for maintaining the customer portfolio and driving net sales growth, maintain an active prospect funnel and finding new markets and business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Process Engineering, Textile Engineering or other related field of study.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in the industry.
  • Experience with b2b sales is an advantage.
  • Technical skills are an advantage.
  • Self-driven and motivated by creating results and developing your own skills.
  • Good at communicating and building relationships.
  • Structured and can manage a hectic day.
  • Enjoy taking initiative and working independently, but also functions well as part of a team.
  • Fluent in Finnish (spoken and written) as well as communicative English skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness and possibility to travel for work.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure consultative sales supported by services and customer training.
  • Coordinate service and sales activities with cross divisional peers and internal functions (e.g. Marketing Services and Customer Service).
  • Build contacts with customers and identify and influence decision makers and opinion leaders.
  • Continuously contribute to improvement of processes in your region, establish new ways of doing business and find unique and repeatable ways of solving problems.
  • Create processes for and program industrial washing machines.
  • Installation and maintenance of automatic dosing equipment.
  • Frequent travel within the country is expected.
    Location: ideally you live in the South or Central part of Finland, but the location can be discussed with the right candidate.
