The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) represents the company and manages relationships with customers. This role is focused on achieving targets and maintaining current relationships with dealerships for our online dealer-to-dealer auto auction. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for identifying the needs of the dealerships and addressing their concerns within their assigned territory. The TSM will act as a catalyst in implementing sales strategies within their region and across EBlock teams.
Responsibilities:

What You Will Do:

  • Build, enhance, and nurture customer relationships to secure customer loyalty and generate business.
  • Sales- and service-based position with monthly/quarterly and yearly targets. There is a direct responsibility to manage and service existing accounts and develop new accounts. This will include virtual and on-site contact with dealership decision makers and related staff (on-site at dealerships 3-4 days per week).
  • Resolve customer concerns by taking immediate action independently or referring the customer to the appropriate manager(s).
  • Persuasively explain to customers and prospective customers how the company’s products and services can reduce their costs and enhance their businesses.
  • Provide customer training as required.
  • Keep up-to-date with information about product and service innovations, changing needs of customers, market conditions, and competitors, and adjust sales strategy accordingly.
  • Analyze sales data, prepare reports, and carry out other administrative duties associated with the sales function.
  • Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies.
  • Discover sales opportunities through consumer research.
  • Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships.
  • Conduct training in sales techniques and company product attributes.
  • Assess sales performance according to KPIs.
  • Monitor competition within assigned region.

Qualifications:

What You Will Need:

  • Experience in the Automotive Industry
  • Experience in Outside Sales (3+ years)
  • Proven experience as a Territory Manager, building and maintaining relationships
  • Experience closing sales
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organizational and leadership ability
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to travel

At E INC, in the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share our base pay as it is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this full-time position is $60,000.00 - $70,000.00, and this role is eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
