Position: Territory Sales Manager - Vancouver + North Shore
Reports to: Head of Agency + President, Coupe Beverages
Location: Vancouver, BC
Industry: Alcohol / Food & Beverage
Employment Type: Full Time
Total Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 commensurate on industry experience
Coupe Beverages and Duchess Cocktails is seeking a driven, experienced territory sales manager to assume the existing Vancouver / North Shore territory. Ideal candidates will have existing experience and contacts in the beverage alcohol industry, across GLS, LRS, and on-premise licensees.
You will be assuming a strong territory for Coupe Beverages’ products, and join us as we launch additional products into BC Liquor Stores. You will be tasked with growing our pgr, relationships, and listings; interfacing with store staff, and bringing our product selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails to bars and restaurants.
You will work closely with the head of our agency, working to develop sales plans and assist with chain relationships.
This position is a phenomenal opportunity for an individual presently working in alcohol sales, and looking for a change that will provide more opportunity for growth.
Successful candidates must be driven, able to manage their own contacts and appointments, be presentable, and identify daily action for success in your territory without direction.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES

  • 2+ years beverage alcohol or comparable selling experience- Can reliably travel through the Greater Vancouver area- Holds a valid driver’s license and clean driving record- Superior sales skills in probing, matching solutions, negotiating and closing- Excellent relationship building and follow-up skills- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with budget management experience- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)- Computer proficiency and aptitude, specifically with Excel and PowerPoint, CRM experience is an asset- Is a highly competitive team player known for taking initiative and working incredibly hard

Responsibilities:

  • Support Coupe Beverages Corporation and partner products- Deliver territory volume, share, and distribution targets across all sales channels (BCL, LRS, LIC)- Build strong business relationships with customers and consumer groups- Identify and leverage new business opportunities, including tastings and events- Execute and evaluate in-store merchandising and activation, including price, promotion, visibility and quality- Execute call cycle as per service level requirements and administrative duties (routine management)
