Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Territory Sales Manager supports YMCA of the Rockies by expanding our impact as a mission-based retreat and conference center, attracting new groups to our Estes Park Center, Snow Mountain Ranch and Camp Chief Ouray. In this role, you will lead external sales initiatives, creating strategies to build a diverse client base including but not limited to educational and recreational groups, faith-based organizations, family reunions and corporate meetings and retreats. This results-driven role requires a blend of relationship management, proactive outreach and strategic insight to achieve ambitious revenue and occupancy targets.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience: 3-5 years in sales, ideally within the hospitality or travel industry.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and social media tools; proficiency in Delphi and HotelKey is an advantage.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation and relationship-building skills with a service-oriented mindset.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% within the U.S., primarily within driving distance in surrounding states. If working remotely, the ability to make regular visits to the offices in Estes Park and Granby, Colorado.
- Personal attributes: Self-motivated, goal-oriented and adaptable to fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement annual sales plans to boost B2B occupancy and revenue. Actively engage new clients through targeted strategies and outreach initiatives.
- Market Insight: Maintain a deep understanding of market trends and competitor activity, positioning YMCA of the Rockies as a unique retreat destination.
- Lead Development: Build a strong pipeline of qualified leads through networking, industry events, and digital engagement, including social media and virtual presentations.
- Revenue Growth: Maximize revenue by promoting group bookings and ancillary services to new clients, meeting or exceeding established goals.
- Account Management: Manage the full client relationship lifecycle – from initial outreach through contract completion – to ensure positive client experiences and retention.
- Collaborative Projects: Work with marketing to create custom promotional materials for group clients, coordinate with internal teams to facilitate seamless onboarding and regularly review account performance with the Sales Director.
- Community Engagement: Enhance YMCA of the Rockies’ reputation, stay updated on industry sales techniques and engage in initiatives supporting YMCA of the Rockies’ mission-driven programs.
