Responsibilities:

A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE

As one of our Test Analysts you will work within our cross-functional agile teams and be involved throughout the full development lifecycle from requirements elicitation to the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Our team in Edinburgh is formed of Testers, Developers, BA’s and Scrum Masters with bags of knowledge that will allow you to continue to develop as well as bring your expertise.
Some of the key responsibilities:
· Translate business requirements into clearly defined test scenarios in order to support development.
· Apply technical knowledge and expertise to influence/define the test approach in order to mitigate the risk of change.
· Check that software meets expected behaviours and explore for additional risks.
· Provide continual feedback on product quality to the team and stakeholders to enable them to make informed decisions.
· Apply best practice and contribute to improvements and innovation in technologies/practices within your team e.g., efficiency in the development process or improved customer experience.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE ROLE?

We are looking for somebody who has a true passion for all things Test and Technology and the willingness to continue learning and developing in both manual testing and automation.
You will be a collaborative individual who enjoys working as part of a team, with the ability to look at challenges in a way that helps others to see them, understand them and work through them.

Some other key skills that you’ll have:

  • Experience working in a development environment as a Test Analyst or similar

· Experience working in a collaborative agile development team
· Understanding of the software development lifecycle
· Any experience or training in coding would be beneficial
