JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join our team. The Test Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through thorough testing and analysis.

SKILLS:

• At least 3-4 years’ experience of Investment and Protection products in a Tester role
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to build constructive working relationships with colleagues and other teams within iPipeline
• Ability to self-manage time and workload
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven structured IT testing experience
• Hands-on with automated testing tools and techniques
• Basic understanding on SQLs
• Basic knowledge regarding API Testing
• Good understanding of Life and Pensions (New Business, Underwriting, Contract Servicing, Claims)
• Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecyle process including Agile and Waterfall
• Be aware of GDPR and security requirements.
  Job Type: Permanent
  Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year

• Understand iPipeline processes and procedures used within Testing
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the functionality of SSG
• Create and execute test scripts appropriate to the methodology used in the project
• Record defects in the appropriate defect tracking software
• Participate in UAT, System Testing, Smoke Testing, Performance Testing, Integration Testing, Interface Testing and Regression Testing
• Support out of hours testing when required
• Create, execute and maintain automated tests
• Review test cases and scripts created by other members of the team
• Keep abreast of testing techniques and methodologies
