Test Automation Engineer

REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years of manual testing experience in BFSI/Payment domains
• Atleast 2+ years in test automation experience with functional, regression, and automation testing tools specifically Test Complete by Smartbear
• Atleast 3+ years in test automation using UFT or Selenium or Browserstack tools
• Experience developing automated test scripts using Test Complete
• Experience in VB scripting, Java scripting
• Experience working in public sector domain
• In-depth scripting knowledge experience for automation support
• Experience in ALM tools like Jira / Microfocus / Rally etc.
• Knowledge of UI testing, web services testing, API testing, device testing
• Experienced in Agile, DevOps, TDD, BDD methodologies and processes
• Strong analytical, problem solving skills with good written and oral communication skills

• Review/Design/Define overall Test automation strategy, tools and technologies for test automation
• Creating test Strategies, test plans, defining the automation architecture, including specification of all standards, methods, processes and tools to be used
• Understand the requirements, journeys, test cases that are successfully executed for manual testing; these are to be delivered for test automation
• Leads the design & development of the Test Automation scenarios, scripts using Test complete suite (by Smartbear).
• Analyze and understand existing test coverage and automation frameworks, identifying opportunities for redesign, replacement, reusability, and improvement in efficiency and performance
• Execute test cases using Test Complete tool
• Interwork with other teams and development team to integrate automated test execution into the CI/CD pipelines as part of Sprint or regression testing
• Prepare plan for test automation sprints and share progress/status with customer and internal governance teams
