Test & Automation Engineer Performance (m/f/d)

• Work in a self-organized team of experienced software engineers and test experts to detect, understand, and mitigate performance issues of the V93000 SOC test system, ideally before a customer sees them
• Develop and continuously improve tools and test cases to measure, monitor, visualize, and report the performance of all layers of the system
• Help to improve the approaches to detect and analyze performance degradations
• Collaborate with R&D teams in Germany, Japan, China, the US, and India to provide them with services, guidance, tools, and frameworks that help them in the context of testing in general and performance testing in particular

Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Very good knowledge of developing automation solutions using scripting languages like Python, Ruby, Linux shell (e.g., Bash)
• Good knowledge of C++, Java, or the Eclipse rich client platform
• Good knowledge of the Linux operating system
• Very good communication skills in English
• Intercultural understanding and experience in working with foreign teams
• Good team player with the desire to work in a cross-functional team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in semiconductor testing or the semiconductor industry in general
• Experience with performance measurement tools, like software profilers
• Knowledge of test automation tools, e.g., QF-Test, Squish, or test frameworks
• Good documentation and presentation skills
• German, Japanese, or Chinese language skills
