Overview/ Job Responsibilities:
Sev1Tech is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to support the Program Executive Office (PEO) Manpower, Logistics, and Business Solutions (MLB) which manages the Logistics (LOG) Information Technology (IT) portfolio. This portfolio is composed of 300+ afloat and ashore IT systems/applications with 150,000+ users across all Naval Systems Commands (SYSCOMs) and Naval Operational Forces (NOF) to include ships, carriers, submarines, USN/USMC aviation squadrons, and Naval Expeditionary Forces. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is a joint user of LOG IT capabilities and is part of the program requirements. LOG IT enables essential business operations for various capability groups.
The Automated Software Test engineer for applications and systems software will be member of the Test and Evaluation Team, and will be responsible for automating and executing verification, validation and testing of application and systems software.

Job duties would include, but are not limited to:

• Use Selenium WebDriver(Java) to automate test cases provided by the IV&V team and stakeholders.
• Integrate automated test cases into the DevSecOps pipeline.
• Develop performance tests using automated performance testing tools.
• Conduct test design activities to identify and create automated test cases, test procedures and test scripts traceable to system requirements.
• Conduct static and dynamic testing at all software testing levels to include integration, functional, system, and acceptance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• MUST have Current US DoD Secret level clearance.
• Qualify as a DoD Cybersecurity Workforce member and maintain a SECRET clearance.
• Minimum eight (8) years’ experience as a test engineer.
• Knowledge and experience in object-oriented programming.
• Experience with developing and managing automated test suites.
• Demonstrated experience with automated test framework development.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver(Java) and Cucumber.
• Experience with using build tools such as Maven.
• Experience with code source management (Gitlab,SourceTree).
• Experience with integrating automated tests into the DevSecOps pipeline.
• Knowledge of agile software development life cycle models.
• Skilled in utilizing software development management and issue tracking tools (JIRA).
• Skilled in utilizing test management tools to build test suites/sets, capture test data, and analyze results.
• Ability to capture test data, analyze test results and clearly communicate (orally and written) findings and/or deficiencies.
• Ability to coordinate and collaborate with members of a software development or systems engineering team to accomplish project team goals and objectives.
• Ability to conduct software/system integration, installation, configuration, functional, performance, regression and system recovery testing.

Desired Qualifications:

• US Navy logistics experience.
