Description:

We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer responsible for verifying and validating electro-mechanical design performance. This candidate will play a critical role ensuring successful hardware and software processing / integration to meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead integration, test planning and execution (including functional validation) on products
- Establish reliability of product, maintainability, and durability test standards
- Develop test plans and procedures
- Builds and tests prototypes
- Performs debugging procedures
- Conducts compatibility evaluations
- Write test plans, procedures and test reports
- Analyzes test data; identifying, isolating and resolving performance problems.
- Provide sustaining support by offering technical support; troubleshooting and resolving production problems related to electro-mechanical design.
- Identify test equipment and network needs
- May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment and process
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal multi-disciplinary teams.
- Assist with risk reduction activities and issue resolution
- May assist in the corrective/preventive action process
Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and/or combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3+ years test engineering experience preferable in an Aerospace or Defense environment.
- Expertise in thermal environment and electrical engineering (voltage, current, resistance) understanding
- Expertise in electrical integration and test product development, and ability to generate and/or modify test plans and procedures (ATPs)
- Ability to apply electrical engineering principles in reviewing electrical schematics to define electrical integration test design, test plan, and procedures for a system level test activity
- Ability to perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations
- Ability to independently troubleshoot problems and find possible root causes related to test equipment, unit under test, and test procedures
- Ability to provide accurate and concise status reports and findings
- Ability to troubleshoot down to the component level
- Ability to write Acceptance Test Procedures
- Hands-on problem-solving skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft software programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to distinguish colors
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident per ITAR regulations
- Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
