Description:
A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an advanced Test engineer at MKS INSTRUMENTS based in CREWE, you will partner with our engineering team and will report to Mark our engineering Director.
You will make an impact by:
- Develop and execute test plans with engineering team to validate performance against requirements.
- Perform functional, performance, regression testing, and reporting on existing and new products.
- Identify and track performance and software defects to the engineering team.
- Stay updated with the current testing tools, techniques and methodologies.
- Identify testing limitations in state-of-the-art vacuum measurement equipment and drive the testing technology to new levels.
Skills you will bring:
- A bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or other related field.
- A relevant experience in product testing and reporting.
- Knowledge and experience in statistical methods of data analysis.
- Experience with LabVIEW and Python programming desirable.
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Preferrable Skills:
- Data base development experience a plus.
- Experience in electronics a plus.
- Experience in vacuum technology a plus.
