Test Engineer
Purpose
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional who enjoys working in a multinational environment to join our Sensor & Measurement team in Bergen. We develop state-of-the-art sensors and measurement methods for NDT Global’s in-line pipeline inspection services.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Prepare, perform and document tests of sensors and inspection tools according to test procedures.
• Prepare test plans and test procedures.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and facilities.
• Order materials for laboratory and testing purposes.
• Assemble and prepare inspection tools for testing activities.
• Assist in the analysis of test results.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, experimental science, or related field is required.
• 1 to 3 years of experience with experimental laboratory work, industrial or academic is required.
• Experience with MS Office.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
• An understanding of the physical principles behind non-destructive testing techniques is preferred.
• Experience with a scripting language such as MATLAB or Python is preferred.
