SKILLS
Must have
Education: Master studies (or equivalent) in electronic engineering, computer science or a comparable field;
Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, ideally along with agile principles;
Experience in manual SW & HW testing;
Open to learn new technologies and adjust to new ways of working;
Good communication skills in English (writing & speaking) along with the team spirit;
Hands-on experience in the automotive domain: CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, Diagnostics, Variant Coding, flashing ECUs, etc.
Hands-on experience with Linux: scripting, programming, verification, etc.
JIRA / Confluence user;
Technical background.
Nice to have
European (DE) driver’s license (Class B) with 1-2 years driving experience in Germany;
Good knowledge in Automation framework (Robot framework is preferable);
Experience in automation framework
Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline creation;
F2 license to drive test vehicles.

Responsibilities:
As a Test Engineer within the SW House you will contribute to the verification and validation of the system being developed.
You will be working within a development team with SW testing as main focus or in an independent verification team focusing on feature test on system level. In your role as a tester being part of the SW House you will be able to contribute to the development of test environment being used.
Your Mission:
Responsible for feature testing of an end2end
product.
Design, implementation and documentation of test automation system with a focus on the applications based on embedded Linux.
Creating test case and test plans for the next generation infotainment product.
Support different Test Activities like regression testing, System Testing and End of Line Testing and Vehicle Testing.
Implementation, execution and documentation of test cases.
Identify effective test strategies for new/existing features and craft test plans accordingly.
Support development team to reproduce bugs and verify bug fixes.
Analysis of logs, test specs and test scripts.
Vehicle Logs Analysis like DLT logs, Ethernet/CAN logs.
Requirement analysis and development of test approach.
Analyse issues detected during your tests or reported by others and work closely with developers to resolve issues and validate software changes.
Test automation (Squish, Python, Robot Framework).
Maintain and document test environment (e.g. test bench and car).
