JOB SUMMARY
Within Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions we are looking for a Test Engineer who will widen his/her technical knowledge about verification & validation process, with a deep focus on our equipment development. In this
role you will be an individual contributor who will take physical test executing responsibility on the equipment in the test hall, from evaluation of designs and choice of test methodology, through planning and execution to analysis and reports.
This is a permanent position based in Modena (Italy). You will be asked to travel up to 30% of your time to suppliers and customers sites
WE BELIEVE YOU HAVE
- You have a technical education in Mechatronic, Mechanical, Electronics or Automation similar
- We are looking for candidates up to 3/4 years of testing experience in Automatic Machine with mechatronic content, preferably in the area of packaging
- You are familiar with several testing techniques and tools in order to be able to implement and understand results (physical testing capability)
- You have mechanical skills: assembling and disassembling of component and sub-system
- You have electrical competence in reading electrical schema and cabling
- You have pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge in reading pneumatic and hydraulic circuits and cabling
Responsibilities:
- Conducting test making sure that they are error-free and in line with the test specification
- Equipment as technical reference: configuration, troubleshooting and test environment
- Reporting and presenting deviations and results
- Contribute to the product development providing solutions and technical information to Functional Competencies
As a Test engineer you create (invent) new solutions, implement them and see the result of your job. You are a key figure during the field test at customer site.
