  • A minimum of 10 years of tactical network test engineering experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer V to join our team in evaluating and testing tactical network systems. The successful candidate will play a critical role in preparing and reviewing test plans, conducting performance tests, and ensuring that systems meet the required specifications and standards.
This position requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful test execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 10 years of tactical network test engineering experience with a demonstrated record of conducting performance tests and evaluations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate technical data effectively.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning: Prepare and review comprehensive test plans, detailing the types of tests to be conducted, required facilities, proposed schedules, and estimated costs.
  • Performance Testing: Conduct performance tests and evaluations of tactical network items and systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements.
  • Resource Coordination: Ensure that sufficient equipment, resources, and personnel are available to execute testing tasks effectively.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze and evaluate technical data, including instrumentation readings, calculations, and deficiency reports, to validate results and identify weaknesses or failures.
  • Design Evaluation: Assess design and specification proposals from manufacturers to determine compliance with general requirements; make recommendations regarding feasibility, time, cost estimates, and technical phases.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate testing requirements with other engineers, subject matter experts, PdMs, and organizations to facilitate comprehensive testing and evaluation.
