Responsibilities:
Onsite
The primary responsibility for this summer/fall co-op position is to contribute to a cross-functional team of test engineers developing and maintaining test solutions. The student who fills this position must have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. This position will heavily utilize software development and debug skills on multi-rack automated test stations. Typical test stations include components such as switch systems, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, DMM’s, power supplies and other RF or digital related equipment. This role is onsite, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
What You Will Do:
- You will provide technical support, troubleshoot problems, and resolve production issues of various scope and complexity relating to test solutions.
- You will design test fixtures and interconnects.
- You will develop automated test software and user interfaces.
- You will verify test results are accurate, repeatable and reliable.

- You will learn aerospace test design standards and how they apply to Avionics.
- You will learn technical interpretation of drawings and specifications relating to product designs and test requirements.
- You will learn how to leverage the expertise of those around you to succeed in a cross-functional team environment.
