Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree: Bachelor of Applied Science or Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited university.
  • Experience: Key contributor in 5+ development projects.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years.

SKILLS:

  • Programming: Proficient in languages like C, C++, C#, or Python (3+ years).
  • Testing Tools: 3+ years using National Instruments TestStand and LabVIEW.
  • Problem Solving: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Teamwork: Excellent collaboration skills.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

TEST ENGINEERING SPECIALIST JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The test engineering specialist will help ensure the quality of our scanning products. This role focuses on creating and supporting automated tests for cameras and sensors. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams, including product design, quality, manufacturing, and purchasing, to improve testing processes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Product Design and New Product Introduction teams to establish testing strategies for new products.
  • Design and support automated testing systems, including software and hardware.
  • Define and agree on testing deliverables with Product Designers, New Product Introduction teams, and Program Managers.
  • Influence product design to enhance test coverage and reliability.
  • Specify automation requirements and validate them before product launch.
  • Assist the manufacturing team in troubleshooting and analyzing product failures.
  • Improve existing testing capabilities by enhancing equipment and developing new tools to meet testing needs.
