Provide prototype inspection, assembly, and testing to Product Development Department. Carry out required testing as per test request. Responsible for preventative maintenance, calibration, and cleanliness of all lab equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Set-up testing parameters on testing stand and execute test as per request Analyze testing result and compile testing report
- Inspection of prototype components: CMM and manual gauging
- Pump assembly
- Set-up equipment for specific test: fixtures, shafts, instrumentation
- Run tests: Mechatronic, hydraulic, acoustic, durability, cold start, audits
- Record information during test
- Pump tear down analysis
- Operation of data acquisition equipment
- Provide test feedback to engineering personnel
- Work in compliance with Johnson Electric FPS Quality, Safety & Environmental System
