KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Build sustainable, comprehensive testing strategies & protocols for business acceptance testing processes and their interactions across multiple work streams.
  • Ensure each phase of testing is planned effectively within projects and resource requirements are understood across IT and business users.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal/external stakeholders, test managers, development teams, QA leads, business and project teams to define test strategy within programmes and/or projects.
  • Ensure consistent use of JIRA/Zephyr scaled and other test management / collaboration tools used, taking responsibility to train and upskill other Test users and Business Testers.
  • Support test planning, implement monitoring, control and delivery of business acceptance testing activities and tasks
  • Define and create test data and scripts, as well as support others in doing the same
  • Coordinate test resources, track progress and issue management (including leading the triaging of issues into defects, new requirements, data set-up, user error etc.)
  • Collaborate with Aztech (IT) regarding test environment configuration, availability and security to ensure smooth execution of E2E business acceptance testing. Where required work with Allianz Group and 3rd parties to specify and deliver environment requirements
  • Identify areas suitable for automation testing and work with peers in ATech (IT) to deliver.
  • Define/Specify/Implement test reporting requirements. Ensure the required level of reporting is provided by the delivery teams and up into programme management.
  • Work with System Test teams to ensure full coverage of end to end testing requirements.
  • Manage and empower the test staff in testing methodologies and enabling best practices.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Managing the design, development and delivery of large-scale E2E testing engagements across a broad range of platforms and business areas
  • Building sustainable, comprehensive testing strategies & protocols that cover both system and business testing processes and their interactions
  • Understanding of all test phases (types) and their relevance and place in setting up a best-in-class QA capability on large programmes of work
  • Ability to work closely with technical and business stakeholders at all levels to achieve best outcomes
  • Leadership skills and ability to take a flexible approach to meet team objectives
  • ISTQB foundation certificate

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous and highly fluid environment
  • Independent, self-motivated with excellent organisational skills
  • ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager

Responsibilities:

Your main responsibility will be to facilitate organisational change by utilising specialised business acceptance testing skills, along with a disciplined test management approach. You will provide support to our internal stakeholders from various departments, such as Finance, HR, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and IT.
Your role will involve defining and implementing test strategies across the portfolio, working closely with the Project team (Project Managers, Business Analysts, Test Leads and Test Analysts) to devise and agree test objectives, test strategies and test plans aligned to the overall portfolio dates.
