JOB DESCRIPTION
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Technician II to join our manufacturing team. REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required
- 2-year technical degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience
- At least 1 year of manufacturing/electronics testing experience
- Previous experience using test equipment preferred (Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Chart Recorders)
- Experience in lean manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement is a plus
- Knowledge of Windows-based and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access) is advantageous

Responsibilities:
- Perform testing using prescribed methods and work instructions
- Collect and analyze test data to make informed process decisions
- Assist in the selection and set-up of specialized equipment
- Conduct a wide variety of analyses to identify and address problems
- Perform machine set-up, calibration, and preventative maintenance
- Rebuild manufacturing equipment as needed to ensure operability
