TEST TECHNICIAN (ELECTRICAL)

The client is the world leading semiconductor company from USA. It is ranked as one of the “Top Best Places to Work in Singapore”. Below position is open urgently.
Position: Test Technician (Electrical); 12 months Renewable Contract
Venue: Woodlands
Working Hours: Monday-Friday; 8am-530pm
Summary:
Responsible for performing electrical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning test equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Electrical engineering or equivalent related field or experience is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Manufacturing field and soldering technology background will be prefer.
• Work accordingly to SOP, training will be given.

• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and/or rough sketches or drawings.
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• May perform equipment modifications as directed by test engineers.
• Collaborate with company TMs for collection of parts from Fab decon room
• To perform initial assessment upon parts receive by visual
• To perform desoldering and soldering of components found faulty
• Liaise with company TM to search and order components by company system
• Pack all PCB and Assembly units, ready to return to end user
• Generate service report and update work done through share point
• Daily house keep on working areas and dispose of any used components / parts
• Check inventory, update Engineer if need to restock
• Update daily activities in tracking system (share point)
